"You must have a great camera..."

is what many photographers hear when a person sees a beautiful photo.

I've heard this many times over my years in photography. But think about it; does the camera have the vision it wants to create for the photo? Can the camera pick itself up, find the exact right angle, right lighting, direct the subject, set all of the camera settings correctly, then take the photo all by itself? Nope! Friends, it has NOTHING to do with the camera (ok... a little, but not much). It is the photographer who does all of these things to create the perfect photo.

This camp will...

  • teach you how to use a DSLR camera to take more control over your photos.

  • teach you how to use the manual settings on your DSLR camera.

  • teach you how to expose your photos correctly.

  • teach you how to use your DSLR to create your vision for your photos.

You can do SO much more with a DSLR!

A DSLR is a type of digital camera that you can manually control the settings and change lenses on. Not only is the quality of the photos typically better with a DSLR, but the ability to customize all the settings manually on your camera allows you to have more control over what your photos look like and you can create photos just like the pros!
